Services

Founded in 1974, the Digestive Disease Clinic (DDC) is comprised of physicians who are specially trained to diagnose and treat GI disorders. Besides completing medical school, an internship and a residency, each physician has done additional study through a Gastroenterology Fellowship, and each one is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.

DDC doctors are on staff at Tallahassee Memorial Regional Medical Center and Tallahassee Community Hospital. Inpatient (overnight) care is available at either hospital, and outpatient procedures may be done there or, if you prefer, at the Tallahassee Endoscopy Center (TEC) within the DDC building.

Although DDC physicians are in a group practice, you will be able to see the same physician each time. This helps to maintain a secure physician/patient relationship and continuity of care.

DDC physicians are consultants in a specialized field (gastroenterology). You should also have a "primary care" doctor - an Internist or Family Practice physician. If you don't have a family physician already, we'll be glad to help you find one.

We're here to help you with your gastrointestinal problems, and we want to offer quality care to all our patients. Extra time spent dealing with billing problems, missed appointments and other issues reduces the time we need to devote to you and others. We appreciate your cooperation and we encourage and welcome your comments. Please let us know how we're doing by completing a Patient Satisfaction Survey after your next visit.
